Seize the Day

I toss and I turn
not knowing
where to put
this pain body,
for comfort….
It’s not the first time
nor will it be the last…
it just is……
maybe I can close my eyes
again, as the day begins.
Perhaps the day will be kind,
if I am.
Maybe I will stay awake
if I truly engage with the day…
