Flick's Poetry & Thoughtfield: “Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field. I'll meet you there. When the soul lies down in that grass the world is too full to talk about.” Rumi

Blue Sky

Sky sings
a melismatic blue
as whispers of clouds
strum backdrops for
Rosebuds, pink.
October warmth oozes
like fragrant oils upon
ageing flesh.
Luscious living.

Leaves curling, turning.
Soon, swish-crunch under foot as
summer slides away.
Cold months in view come too soon;
hibernation seems fitting.
